The Mumbles web cam is run by Mumbles
based photographer Phil Rees. My work is exhibited in"Blades Artworks" gallery on the Mumbles Road near the seafront in The Mumbles. The site started out as an actual webcam which I set up in my house, so I could share the view of Mumbles with others. I figured that the views would be much more interesting if they changed every day, so I ditched the webcam and now try and take a picture per day, which I upload onto the site. I got my inspiration for the website from the French ski resort of , which has a "Photo du jour" (Photo of the day) almost every day on it's website. I also lived away from Mumbles for a while and know what it is like to feel homesick, though this site probably makes people feel even more homesick, if you are living away! All the images contained on this site are copyrighted and may not be used without my permission. |
